I am many things: a Christ follower. A daughter. A wife. A friend. A nurse. A "bruther" (best not to ask). A rookie seamstress. A daydreamer. An animal lover. An Anthropologie addict. And a photographer.

Photography came knocking at my door one day. It was quite an unexpected caller, and the journey on which it has taken me has been most rewarding. I've found that, so far, the best things in my life have been the things I never would have dreamed for myself. I've always loved pictures, but only in the past few years have I turned that love into a craft.

I am mostly self-taught. I have taken one eight-hour workshop in photography, and that was after I began doing photoshoots for business. Learning the rules of the game has been interesting and helpful, but I've found that I learn the most when I just shoot.

I have recently stopped pursuing photography professionally, but if you really want me to take your photos and I really like you, it can't hurt to ask. ;)
